Lap Joint Stub End

Industrial Lap Joint Stub Ends – Manufactured in stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel & Duplex. Built to ASME B16.9 and DIN 2641/42 standards. Beveled ends, long & short stub end, bulk orders accepted.

We are a prominent manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of Lap Joint Stub Ends, engineered for piping systems that require frequent dismantling and reassembly for inspection, cleaning, or maintenance. These fittings are used alongside lap joint flanges, offering flexibility and ease of alignment during installation. Stub ends are especially advantageous in systems where bolt hole alignment can be challenging, as the flange can rotate freely around the stub end, reducing labor time and ensuring a more efficient fit.

Lap Joint Stub Ends are primarily available in two standard types: the Short Stub End and the Long Stub End. The Short Stub End is manufactured according to MSS-SP-43 and is commonly used with stainless steel pipes in low-pressure applications. It features a shorter hub and is more cost-effective for general use. The Long Stub End, produced as per ASME B16.9, has a longer hub and is preferred for higher pressure or severe service conditions, offering enhanced strength and welding flexibility. We also offer custom stub end lengths to suit specific project or installation needs.

Our stub ends are manufactured using high-quality materials such as Stainless Steel (grades 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 347, 904L), Carbon Steel (ASTM A234 WPB/WPC), Alloy Steel (WP5, WP11, WP22, WP91), and Duplex Steel (S31803, S32205). On request, we also supply Nickel Alloys including Inconel 625, Monel 400, and Hastelloy C276. Available in sizes ranging from ½” to 48” (DN15–DN1200) and wall thicknesses from SCH 5S to SCH XXS, our stub ends comply with international standards such as ASME B16.9, MSS-SP-43, ASTM A403, and A234.

Lap Joint Stub Ends are widely utilized across industries including oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, food processing, and marine engineering. Key benefits of using stub ends include easier bolt alignment, reduced flange face damage, lower overall system cost (by allowing use of carbon steel flanges with expensive alloy piping), and flexibility in high-maintenance systems. Precision-engineered with strict quality checks, our stub ends ensure leak-free connections, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance even in corrosive or high-pressure environments.

Precision Lap Joint Stub Ends – Long & short, seamless & welded. Sizes from ½” to 48”, SCH 10, 40, 80, 160, and XXS. Materials: SS, CS, Alloy Steel. Ready for bulk export per ASME/MSS standards.
