A buttweld tee is a critical fitting that allows for the diversion, distribution, or combination of fluid flow at a 90-degree intersection. We manufacture and supply various types of tees, including Equal Tees, Reducing Tees, and Lateral Tees, each suited for specific flow configurations and process requirements. Equal tees have all three outlets of the same size and are commonly used to divide flow evenly, while reducing tees connect pipes of different diameters, making them ideal for pressure or flow adjustments. Lateral tees, which branch off at a 45-degree angle, are often used in applications where smoother flow transitions are required or when space constraints limit traditional 90-degree branches.
These tees are manufactured in sizes ranging from ½” to 48” (DN15 to DN1200) and wall thicknesses from SCH 5 to SCH 160 / XXS, covering low-pressure to high-pressure service conditions. All buttweld tees are produced in accordance with international standards such as ASME B16.9, ASTM A403, ASTM A234, MSS-SP-75, and EN 10253, ensuring consistency in wall thickness, dimensional accuracy, and structural integrity. We use various forming processes, including cold forming, hot forming, hydraulic bulging, and machining, depending on material type and project specifications. Bevel ends are finished as per ANSI B16.25 to facilitate seamless welding during installation.
